Scorpio came into existence in late 1978 and was incorporated in July, 1981. We are located in Southwestern Ontario, which is a one hour drive from the Michigan border, and is close to most of the Great Lakes.

Our customer base is predominately American, with a modest number of Canadian clients. Many of our yachts are custom-built ranging in size from 30' to 73'. It is truly a pleasure to add the personal touch that clients want and deserve in a yacht that is built exclusively for them.

Our goal is to build a yacht to meet your needs and to fill your wish list. We can work with the most 'exacting and discriminating' client and/or designer.

We have expertise that is combined with experience, along with attitudes that is reflective of an artisan's workmanship -- that is becoming rare. We would be happy to supply a client with references.

In retrofits, and am sorry to say, we don't have many photographs, but as part of our services, we do offer custom interiors, installation of mechanical, plumbing and re-furbished deck layouts.

And quite often we do structural repairs/modifications, such as fire restorations, replacing keels/rudders. We also paint hulls/decks either with or without graphics.
