In the 1980's, our family embarked on our first houseboat trip, and it truly changed our lives forever. Observing seven young cousins enjoying each others company in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Roosevelt, we decided that we'd like to become part of a business that offered this unusual level of bonding to family and friends.

 

 

Dakota Columbia constantly strives to stay ahead of the competition. Now with seven luxurious houseboats, we are proud to operate the youngest fleet on Lake Roosevelt. With an average age of under two years old, our vessels are equipped with the latest in relaxation technology: air conditioning, satellite tv, hot tubs, fireplaces, and full service kitchens, just to list a few. If you've never taken a houseboat vacation, prepare for a relaxing experience, a week to truly "get away from it all." Lake Roosevelt offers crystal clear water, world class fishing, and water sports that are second to none.

Just choose your own secluded cove, and glide the houseboat right up to your private beach. Unlike some houseboat locations where you are forced to stay aboard your boat all week due to rugged shoreline, Lake Roosevelt's shore is tribal land or national recreational area. What this means to you is that you're free to land anywhere you wish and explore 'till your heart's content.

 

Discover waterfalls deep in the forest or track a bear - it's up to you. This is a vacation beyond any you've experienced, I promise! A true escape to the wilderness complete with air conditioning and many other features that may push the bounds of excess, but somehow achieves a sublime balance.
