President and owner, Sean Caples has been involved in the water
sports business for well over 20 years. His passion for water sports
began with wind surfing and evolved into the world
of kayaking. Malibu Kayaks began
manufacturing a little over 7 years ago, with the Pro 2 Tandem being
introduced in 1999. Sean's passion and experience clearly defines
why Malibu Kayaks have grown so popular both nationally
and internationally in such a short period of time.
All Malibu Kayaks are designed for stability, versatility,
and dry seating; elements not often associated with sit-on-top
kayaks. The 3.4 and 4.4 are different in that they're not
designed to be dry, but rather designed to be nimble in the surf.
These two surf kayaks are capable of working the
