our mission statement has remained the same from day one. To make
boating accessible and affordable for everyone. Pelican's
tradition of providing high quality, well-featured boats, at affordable
prices began with the introduction of the pedal boat. This was followed
by a complete line-up of canoes and kayaks in the early 70's. Mini-bass,
jon, and fishing boats were unveiled in the early 90's, and our
triumphant re-entry into the kayak market, using an innovative manufacturing
process, came in 2001.
Today, over 50 models of boats are produced in our state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility. At the same time, Pelican's
