Thirty years ago when Richard Matthews founded Oyster, at the tender age of twenty-four, he had no idea the business would develop into an International market leader, or that we would go on to build over a thousand fine yachts. Recent milestones include two Queen’s Awards for export and international trade, the most recent in 2001. The Queen's Award for Industry is Britain’s top industrial accolade and it is an unusual honour for a private company to be a multiple Queen's Award winner.
